Lighthouse Beach Sunset Paddle

On Thursday, August 5th, the Ocean Tribe Paddling Club will host a sunset paddling excursion from lighthouse beach. We will launch from the bayside parking lot and paddle around the eastern point of Sanibel and watch the sunset beyond the gulf. This paddle should provide not only marvelous views of the sunset but the potential to local wildlife such as dolphins, manatees and shorebirds.

Those interested in joining the group should meet at the first bayside parking lot at 6:15 PM. The paddle will begin at 6:30 PM. The paddle will last an hour and a half with the sunset at 8:10PM. Participants are invited to bring their own vessel, or a limited number of loaner vessels can be reserved in advance for members by contacting oceantribepaddlers@sanibelseaschool.org. Any weather related updates or schedule changes will be posted on the Ocean Tribe Outfitters Facebook page at least one hour prior to the event.

To ensure the safety in our programs and to incorporate social distancing, our paddles are only open to members at this time. Members that would like to attend, please email oceantribepaddlers@sanibelseaschool.org to reserve your spot for this paddle.
