Rebooting Web of Trust - Decentralized identity for humans and machines
Details
In this Meetup you will get insights to solutions, built by members of the Rebooting Web of Trust community. We have speakers from Startups, Researchers and Corporates, to present solutions, implementation and adoption challenges and how the Rebooting Web of Trust community impacts the transformation of the internet.
The meetup will be hosted by Telekom Innovation Laboratories in Berlin.
Civic and Identity.com: Daniel Kelleher will give you an overview and demonstration of the Identity Validator Toolkit, which contains libraries and applications for Identity Validators to connect to the ecosystem. It is configurable, scalable, and simple to deploy and maintain.
Spherity: Carsten Stöcker will present Spherity’s model for the decentralized Digital Identity management of machines, things and digital entities. Besides showing use cases, he will give a technical insight into the implemented W3C standards such as Decentralized Identifiers and Verifiable Credentials.
The Purple Tornado/DIDecentral: Researcher Juan Caballero will overview the public-domain educational materials he is producing for two different US-based decentralized identity projects.
uPort: uPort 1.0 is a scaleable solution for Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) but it took us a long time to get there. We also learned a lot from customer feedback and some mistakes that we did in the past. The new uPort 2.0 architecture focuses on managed ecosystems and covers tools for revocation of presentations, credentials, on-chain verifiable credentials as well as a multi-party storage platform for managing relationships with enterprises and people.
After the sessions, you are delighted to dive into deep technical and business discussions or just grab a drink and network.
Location:
Meetup will take place at hubraum coworking café from our partner Telekom Innovation Laboratories in Berlin.
