What you will learn:
What a B Corporation is and how these companies are using their business as a force for good! Also we'll dive deep into what you can do to build a better business and join this global movement.
Our main presenter will be Frank Scarpaci!
Frank G Scarpaci is the founder of VIANOVA, Inc, a corporate social responsibility and sustainability consulting, training and facilitation company. Frank’s specialties include strategic planning facilitation, corporate social responsibility (CSR) program design, CSR and sustainability reporting, CSR program management and B Corporation certification.
Frank's background:
Early in his career, Frank discovered his passion for CSR while working at American Express, where he developed and led a variety of successful good citizenship initiatives. In 2000, his efforts earned him the American Express Great Citizens Award in honor of the company’s 150th anniversary.
In 2005, Frank founded VIANOVA, a sustainable business consulting and training firm dedicated to helping companies connect their business success and social good. He is able to leverage his diverse business experience and social responsibility expertise to help clients build better businesses: better for their employees, customers, and communities as well as the environment. Frank’s firm was one of the first certified B Corporations, a classification reserved for businesses that adhere to rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. He has been a featured speaker on the topic of B Corporations and CSR for numerous conferences, radio programs, and client events.
