A panel discussion of how AI can remove biases from business decisions. Description: Biases in human decisions are well documented. Machine learning enhanced decision-making takes a two-fold approach to eliminating these biases: by augmenting rational behaviours while controlling irrational behaviours. We invite you to join us for a panel discussion at KPMG where we explore opportunities for artificial intelligence to nudge business towards better choices. Abhishek Das (Keynote): Machine Learning Engineer at KPMG's Solution 49x, with a PhD in Quantitative Finance. Abhishek has experience deploying computer vision and natural language processing based solutions for clients in Government and Financial Sectors. 2. Daniela Marconi: Director Customer Behaviour (Behavioural and Social Sciences) at IAG. Daniela brings a strong background in the study and practice of human thinking and behaviour. 3. Mark Raberger: Chief Claims Officer at MetLife Australia. Mark brings a unique perspective to business decisioning through his experience in financial services, workers compensation and clinical physiotherapy. On the second or third Wednesday of every month (starting 15 October 2014) we get together to discuss interdisciplinary books, thoughts, experiences, applications and anything else from the fields of behavioural economics, psychology, neuroscience, evolutionary economics and more.

    Whether just starting to learn about the field or if you have many years of research / applied experience we would love to see you there!
