Understanding Australian reading by breaking down behaviours and audiences

About the talk
This talk will present recent research into recreational reading behaviours in Australia. Recreational reading is in decline but a lot of people want to read more. We applied a behavioural science approach to reading to explicitly call out the sequence of reading behaviours and use audience segmentation to understand different types of readers. Segmentation allowed us to understand how drivers and barriers were helping or hindering different types of readers to read.
