Frühling im Harz / Spring in the Harz Mountains

Wir verbringen ein Wochenende in Braunlage im Harz. Am Samstag steht eine Wanderung auf den Gipfel des Wurmbergs (971 m) an, von wo wir eine phantastische Sicht auf den Harz und den Brocken haben werden (11,7 km, 380 Höhenmeter). Nachmittags können wir noch eine kleine Runde auf dem Naturmythenpfad machen (6,32 km) oder uns in der örtlichen Therme ausruhen.
Am Sonntag geht es hinaus auf die Achtermannshöhe (925 m) und über Stege am Oderteich entlang (12 km), bevor wir abends die Rückfahrt nach Berlin antreten.
Wir übernachten im sehr schönen gemütlichen Designhotel Viktoria. JederTeilnehmer bucht sein Zimmer dort selbst (www.designhotel-viktoria.de) oder in einem anderen Hotel seiner Wahl in Braunlage.
Die Anfahrt erfolgt mit ICE/Regionalbahn/Bus. Die Tickets kauft jeder Teilnehmer selbst. Abfahrtszeiten in Berlin Hbf am Freitag und am Sonntag in Braunlage werden allen Teilnehmern bei Anmeldung mitgeteilt.
We're spending a weekend in Braunlage in the Harz Mountains. On Saturday, we'll hike to the summit of the Wurmberg (971 m), where we'll have a fantastic view of the Harz Mountains and the Brocken (11.7 km, 380 meters elevation gain). In the afternoon, we can take a short walk on the Nature Myths Trail (6.32 km) or relax at the local thermal baths.
On Sunday, we'll hike up to the Achtermannshöhe (925 m) and along the Oderteich pond via boardwalks (12 km), before heading back to Berlin in the evening.
We'll be staying at the lovely and comfortable Design Hotel Viktoria. Each participant books their own room there (www.designhotel-viktoria.de) or at another hotel of their choice in Braunlage.
Travel to Braunlage will be by ICE train/regional train/bus. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own tickets. Departure times from Berlin Central Station on Friday and from Braunlage on Sunday will be provided to all participants upon registration.
