This year India will celebrate the Mother Divine Festival (Navaratri) from September 30th to October 10th. You are welcome to celebrate this very special festival with me in Tiruvannamalai at the holy mountain

Mother Divine Festival (Navaratri)

The Mother Divine Festival (Navaratri) is a festival which takes place 9 days and 9 nights. The word Navaratri already tells it, because it means nine (nava) nights (ratri). It is a sacred festival, a time of introspection and purification. Many yogis fast during this time and practice various Sadhanas (spiritual practice) like Muni (to be in silence, do not speak) to gain over the grace of the Mother Divine. Furthermore 9 different aspects of Mother Divine are celebrated and called.

The time during Navaratri is also considered to be favourable and promising to start new projects or ventures and to focus on what is going to be accomplished.

At Navaratri Durga (goddess of courage and strength), Lakshmi (goddess of wealth and success) and Saraswati (goddess of learning and speech) are worshipped as three different manifestations of Shakti and cosmic energy respectively and this will be celebrated in a number of different ways within India.

Everybody who is hungry for spirituality is kindly invited to spend the 9 days and 9 nights with me in Tiruvannamalai to meditate and to practise Samadhi. The number of participants is limited to 25 individuals.

The Very Special:

Some Yogis have announced to visit me in my ashram during this time. We will meet Ayya for instance who has lived in a cave for eleven years, and either did not eat or talk during that time (Muni). He will lead us to secret places full of spiritual vibrations.

We will visit the Shiva temple Arunachaleswara and pass around the Arunachala (Giripradakshina).

Satsangs will belong to our programme as well as singing Bhajans and fire pujas.

Power places full of energy, special encounters with Siddhas and Yogis and highest spiritual knowledge are awaiting you.

Something More Special

We will travel to the very holy Maya Ma Temple and expierience the intense power. This place ist a wonderfull place to explore a deep inner self. Maya Ma is one of the Yoginis who has realised Jeevan Samadhi, wich means she stay in the highest state of yoga. The spirit of Maya Ma is still present and fill this temple full of cosmic power.

Children until 5 years of age are free of charge.

Children aged between 6 and 12 years of age pay half price.
