Dear Innovator,

Making the world a better place is a great thing to do (plus earning some money with it). However, at first, usually you need some money – and people – to get your business going. The equation sounds simple (startup + VC + people = money = success) but you have to deal with a lot of complex legal issues along the way.

That is why we decided to focus the 3rd eHealth legal workshop on term sheets, cap tables, investment and shareholder’s agreements, convertible loans, virtual share option programs and employment law matters. We will talk about the do's and dont's when negotiating with a VC and hiring people.

As this topic is broader than our usual eHealth related themes (data privacy, patient laws, etc.) we this time invite the entirety of early stage Berlin startups who have an interest in learning more about venture capital and employment law matters. Our source of knowledge is as usual the law firm Raue LLP and their experts Dr. Jörg Jaecks and Manuel Milde who offer us their wisdom and experience for the 90 minutes of our intensive law discussion. Likewise the venue will be Raue's office at Potsdamer Platz 1. We are opening doors at 6pm (prenetworking), starting the presentation at 6.30pm. Please be on time!!

Dr. Jörg Jaecks - a lawyer with a focus on Corporate/M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital who regularly advises startups and investors on financing rounds.

Manuel Milde – a lawyer with a focus on Employment and Labor Law who regulary advises startups on Employment Law.
