We want to code with you - FLINTAs* Event @Exxeta

Would you like to experience how your words turn into a colorful and living social media feed like Instagram?

Aimed at FLINTAs* who always wanted to get into tech but don´t know where to begin, we will introduce you to the world of web development and explore the basic technologies to build your first social media feed.

Are you a student (minimum age 16) or a granny? That’s great! We like to open our doors for people that are historically underrepresented in IT & Tech – especially FLINTAs* (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans*, Agender, *Disabled).

We believe that IT & Tech is for everyone! We will offer a safe space for learning with open-minded mentors.

Event language
English, but of course question can be answered in German :)

Coding Task
Did you ever wonder how the web pages are working? What is hidden behind each button and link, how to style them and where all the colors come from? Do you want to learn how to include fancy animations like the Nyan Cat?

We would like to dive into the world of web development together with you using HTML & CSS, as well as a little sneak peak of JavaScript.

Lunch will be provided as well as some (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks. The venue is fully accessible.
