Blockchain for Everyone

From talk show hosts and celebrities, to politicians and CEOs: Everyone is talking about blockchain. There seems to be a general consensus (pun intended) that the technology will enter a critical stage of innovation and adoption, which will finally push it beyond the realm of nerd talk and price speculation and unfold its true disruptive potential as driving force of our societies, as the Internet did the last 20 years.

But: Do you actually understand what all the fuss is about? Are you interested in learning more but don’t know where to start?

At the core of BCG Digital Ventures lies the ability to introduce new ways of thinking and doing to more traditional audiences, and enable them to understand and act on these opportunities. We center innovation around user needs and invite them to play an active part in the development of new services and products. And in our opinion this is exactly what the blockchain space needs at the moment.

With our new meetup we want to create a space where thought leaders from the blockchain space are connected to a diverse crowd of people with non-technical backgrounds. We’ll talk emerging opportunities revolving around decentralisation and give lots of room for questions and critical thoughts. Our intention is to guide the conversation from a conceptual perspective rather than a technical one, and to challenge our speakers to express their vision and ideas in a way that can be understood by everyone.

After a short intro to decentralisation/blockchain by BCG Digital Ventures, we hand over the microphones to our panel guests to present themselves, their key stand points and projects.

Last but not least the discussion is opened up to the audience, in an engaging and interactive way.
