Über uns
This group welcomes anyone who appreciates establishing new friendships and forging meaningful relationships through playing games, engaging in self-explorative exercises and having deep conversations.
As we enter into this new era of mental growth and emotional healing, we increasingly recognise the significance of sharing through our personal stories and first-hand experiences - the positive healing effects it has on us. The deep conversations and intimate discussions at our events attempt to raise our self-awareness and self-acceptance - the first steps towards personal growth and development.
The games we play, especially those at games night, help us regulate our nervous system and often times, escort most of us back to our carefree, responsibility-free childhood days.

Alles ansehen- Icebreaker #24 - Group Edition: Meaningful ConversationsZ'sam, Munich
After a 5-week summer break, we are back to breaking some ice again!
Are you feeling out of sorts lately? Are you tired of surface level conversations in yet another social event? Do you crave for meaningful, deeper connections with people but do not know where to find it? Do you see your colleagues and acquaintances hanging out with their long-time or even childhood friends, whereas, you are (relatively) new here in Munich and do not (yet) have people (physically here) whom you can define as friends? Or are you socially happy with where you are right now but are open to meeting new people with the potential of a great connection?
If your answer is YES to some of the above, then the Icebreaker event is for you.
As one of our favourite events, it is broken into three small groups, where we engage in deeply stimulating talks with one another, promoting varying degrees of mutual understanding. The randomly formed group stays the same throughout the evening, enabling conversations to be both extensive and intensive. As a result, we always leave the event feeling not only alleviated from our everyday stress but also revitalised.
Event Fees: Donation basis. Cash only. Every euro goes directly to the room rental.
This evening on Icebreaker, we get to know each other with the help of over 300 prompt cards. It's a fantastic tool to help spark thoughtful discussions. It doesn't matter if it's with someone you've known for years or someone you've recently met, the prompts, which are split across 12 categories, will spark vulnerability, show off your quirky side or take us down a memory lane.
A sneak peek on the prompts:
- What's your guilty pleasure?
- Would you rather be slightly late or super early?
- How did you meet your best friend?
- What do you regret not doing when you were younger?
- What's something you disagree with about the way you were raised?
- If you could switch places with your friends for a day, who would it be?
- What one accomplishment are you most proud of?
Water is available, feel free to bring snacks which you will share with your small group.
This event:
- is held in English.
- is a space for exchange of opinions and experiences.
- will open its doors at 18:45hrs.
- will begin on time.
I'll be taking photos of the event to be posted on the event page and Instagram. If you do not wish to be photographed, kindly inform me prior to the start of the event.

- Icebreaker #25 - Pair Edition: Meaningful ConversationsZ'sam, Munich
Introducing a new Pair Edition of our Icebreaker event!
Does meeting groups of new people feel overwhelming? Do you enjoy deeper one-on-one conversations but still wish you could meet more than just one or two people in an evening? Do you sometimes find yourself stuck in the same chat all night, not sure how to politely move on? Are you open to trying something different — timed one-on-one conversations, where every 20 minutes you’ll be paired with someone new?
If your answer is YES to some of the above, then this event is for you.
Instead of the small group format, this evening, you will be broken into pairs, where we engage in meaningful conversations with one another, promoting genuine connection and understanding. The pairs switch every 20 minutes, giving you both enough time to dive deeper into a conversation and the chance to meet several people throughout the evening. As a result, we leave the event feeling both grounded and uplifted.
I aim for 20 participants, but the exact number may vary depending on attendance (last-minute no-shows happen — thanks for understanding!).
Event Fees: Donation basis. Cash only. Every euro goes directly to the room rental.
Prompt cards will be provided. You don't need to use them, but they are there when you need some inspirations. A sneak peek on the prompts:

- Be My Date #23 - Self-Explorative ExercisesZ'sam, Munich
Do you ever feel like you're ready for a date, but can’t seem to find the right person to share it with? Have you been on countless first dates, but somehow they rarely turn into something lasting? Do you sometimes struggle to hold a meaningful conversation while staying true to who you really are? Do you long for deeper, more authentic connections that go beyond surface-level small talk? Are you in a relationship and wondering how to bring your connection to the next level?
If you find yourself nodding to any of these questions, then it might be time for you to go on a date—with yourself.
This evening will be all about exploring who you truly are through a series of interactive, thought-provoking exercises. It’s not about surface-level chit-chat. It's about diving deeper—getting to know yourself better, and in turn, allowing us to get to know each other as a group in a meaningful way. As we share personal stories and experiences, we’ll uncover lessons that guide us on our individual growth journeys. In previous Be My Date events, people have bonded over the stories they’ve shared and the lessons they've learnt, creating powerful connections with each other.
This is not a matchmaking event. It’s a date with yourself—a time to reflect, be real, and connect with others in an authentic way. Through our exercises, we’ll become more aware of who we are and how we show up in the world. And most importantly, we’ll create a space where we can shed our masks, be vulnerable, and bring our true selves to the table. After all, you deserve to be liked for who you really are, not for a version of yourself that you feel you need to present.
I warmly invite you to this deeply personal and heart-touching evening. Here, we focus on becoming better versions of ourselves—not only for our future dates, but for our relationships, our friendships, and our connections with everyone we meet. Each Be My Date event explores a different topic around self-appreciation, growth, and emotional connection. The theme of this evening will be revealed during the event itself, but past topics have included self-discovery, emotional availability, fear and courage, and Pauline's dating app (the dynamics of dating in the modern world).
Water is available. Feel free to bring snacks.
Event fees: Donation basis. Cash only. Every euro goes directly to the room rental.
The event:
- will open its door at 6:45pm.

- will be held in English.
- is NOT a counselling session or group therapy.

- 2025: New Beginnings (4-Part Series) - Part 4, The Final Leg: CelebrationOrt benötigt
It's unbelievable, a big chunk of year 2025 is already behind us. Is that what they mean when they say, "time flies"?
We met to set and share our 2025 goals and intentions in January. In April and July, we gathered again to check our 3- and 6-month progress respectively and have more or less arrived at the final leg of our one-year long self-growth journey. Some of us have dropped out in the process for different reasons; for the rest of us who are quietly working towards our goals and intentions, how much have we accomplished?
Part 1: Goals and Intentions and Part 2: Progress Check were open events where members signed up to attempt to make this year different than the last. Every three months, we return to check and celebrate our progress, give each other kind, encouraging words to hang in there, and recount our journey thus far. It has been heartening and always inspiring. It's like arriving at the gas station and getting our energy tanks filled.
Part 3: Almost There and Part 4: Celebration are closed events, hence, the event location is undisclosed.
For all of you who're wondering why this event is even published, it is to show the following-through of a project that was started, followed-up, not forgotten, and not given up. It is for this small group of people who have made commitments to themselves from day one, who are persevering and serious about striving a positive, impactful change for themselves. It is for us who choose to walk this journey together, despite how individual it is. A route walked together is less lonesome.
Part 3: Almost There. It was an inspirational afternoon listening to all of you, the progress you'd made thus far, and how serious and committed you were on your self-work. We looked back at the steps that we took towards our individual goals of becoming better version of ourselves. As we gave ourselves a pat on our shoulders, we also paused to see how far we had come.
Part 4, The Final Leg: Celebration: The goals and intentions we put on paper in the beginning of this year has made a marked difference in our growth. What we had pencilled down to achieve and to refine, we will bring them out to the table tonight. I am excited to hear more of your wins, stumbles, and standstills, regardless of how big or small they are.
As a reminder, while setting goals to exercise more, passing your driving test, and getting registered for the next masters course are typical examples of new year resolutions, this series is focused on making progress on our emotional healing and mental growth.
The event will:
- open its door at 6.45pm.
- start on time.
- be held in English.
Event fees: Donation basis. Cash only. Every euro goes directly to the room rental.
I'll be taking photos of the event to be posted on the event page and Instagram. If you do not wish to be photographed, kindly inform me prior to the start of the evening.
