About us
Podcast lovers, this group is created for you.
Similar to a book club, instead of discussing a book we've read, we meet to exchange thoughts on a pre-selected podcast episode. Listening to, say, a two-hour episode is far less time-intensive and realistically more achievable than getting through a book — and that makes it easier to stick with than losing momentum on a book you never quite finish.
But, we meet a little differently. Not to discuss what was said in the episode, but what it left behind in us. A podcast, once listened to, doesn't just end — it lingers, it echoes, it asks something of us. Some episodes hand us language for things we already knew but couldn't name. Others hold up a mirror we didn't expect.
I pick an episode worth your time — sometimes the full length, sometimes a condensed version if that's what your week allows. Listen before we meet.
And then we gather. Not to summarise what was said, but to sit with what it stirred — in our own lives, our own histories, our own small and unglamorous stories. No two people ever hear the same episode the same way, and that's where the gold is.
This group won't run on a fixed schedule. I'll host when I have the time and energy to do it properly — that might be monthly, every couple of months, or longer. I'd rather do that than promise a calendar I can't keep.
A sister circle to Coming Home – A Space for Inner Journeys — same spirit, different doorway.

Podcast Club: The Art of Being Heard
Z'sam, Theresienstr. 63,, Munich, DEEver left a conversation replaying it in your head — wondering what you could've said differently, or wishing someone had really listened?
For this relaunch, we're listening to a "Most Replayed Moment" from The Diary Of A CEO: Harvard professor Alison Wood Brooks unpacks the science of good conversation — the small habits that quietly damage how we connect, and why so many of us walk away from conversations feeling unheard.
Before we meet:
🎧 Condensed version (33 min): Most Replayed Moment: The Framework to Instantly Become Better at Conversation — this is the one to listen to before attending.🎧 Full episode, if you want the whole picture:
Top Harvard Professor: The Psychology Of Why People Don't Like You!Listen in your own time, before the event. Let it sit with you.
What to expect:
This isn't a discussion group — we won't be recapping what Alison said. We'll each bring what it stirred up in us. Everyone hears something different, so come with your own thread, not just the ones I might suggest on the day. A story about a conversation you still think about, a habit you've caught yourself in, a moment you felt truly heard, or the opposite — all of it belongs here. We'll open as a full circle, first names and a first story. Then we'll break into smaller groups, where there's more room to go as deep (or as light) as feels right for you.
A few optional prompts will be there for the small groups, if you want a starting point. You're just as welcome to bring your own thread — whatever the episode stirred up for you.
Similar to a book club, you must already have listened to the podcast prior to your attendance.
This event is open to members of both Podcast Club and Coming Home — you'll find it listed in both groups. Please RSVP in one group only; signing up in both isn't necessary.
Contribution: €10 donation, cash or PayPal, upon arrival. All proceeds support room rental.
