Podcast duration: 1h 27m
This is a spin-off from the collab event in my main group, What's Your Story? - Narcissism scheduled on Friday, 23.2.24. As some of us are understandably uncomfortable sharing our very personal stories that we have/had with (a) narcissist(s) - an excruciatingly vulnerable place to go to and potentially painfully triggering - I am offering a less intimidating avenue for us to exchange our thoughts about this topic.
In the What's Your Story event, I was carefully strict with admitting the sign-ups in my group, only people with such experience are allowed to participate. Here, it is open to anyone who is curious, wants to share knowledge and/or experience. Let's call it an epidermis exchange, an exploration on its first layer. Depending on how it goes, we might just go dermis, or not. Regardless, the decision to do that will be collective before taking it to the next layer.
Excerpts taken from the podcast description:
If you want to know how to protect yourself from a narcissist, you first have to know how to identify one.
You'll learn the top 10 personality traits to look for, how to handle a narcissist in your life (that you can't avoid), the difference between 'love bombing' and infatuation, and a whole lot more.
Dr. Ramani Durvasula has been researching this topic for over 20 years and is here to give you wisdom, practical advice, and well-researched tools and tricks to navigate what is one of the most unpredictable experience: being in a relationship with a narcissist.
Let's share our thoughts on this podcast. I'd love to hear what/how it is for you. If after listening to this, you think about making some changes, what would they be?
Like a book club, you must already have listened to the podcast prior to your attendance.
The event:
- will open its door at 15:45hrs.
- will start on time.
- will be held in English.
Event fees: Donation basis. Cash only
Water/tea is available. Feel free to bring your own snacks/drinks
I'll be taking photos of the event to be posted on the event page and Instagram. If you do not wish to be photographed, kindly inform me prior to the start of the event.
