Life is Short (How to Spend it Wisely) on The Mel Robbins Podcast
Podcast duration: 56m 11s
Life is finite. Time you have with your loved ones is like a melting ice cube. We think we have a lot of time in our hands to spend it with our loved ones - parents, grandparents, children, siblings, friends, partners.
Or do we really?
Life is fragile. It can be taken away suddenly, without warning. Life is unpredictable. People move on or away. Circumstances change. Or simply, life happens.
Though the episode focuses on how Mel Robbins makes the most out of her time to spend with her parents (who live 16 hours drive away) and her son (who is leaving for college), the 7 ways she shares (some of them are obvious) can be applied to all the people we care about in our lives.
Episode Description, taken from The Mel Robbins Podcast:
Today's episode is a wake-up call. The reality is that time is passing by. If you want to live a more meaningful, successful, and happy life, you need to get serious about the amount of time you have with your loved ones, because it's limited. And unfortunately, today's topic is something that is often not realised until it's too late in life.
