About us:

ProductTank is a global network of meetups for product people, by product people, and provides an opportunity for Product Managers in Munich to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited.

Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two.

We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.

We also have a blog and encourage the community to get engaged by commenting on or writing new posts for http://www.mindtheproduct.com

Finally, check out our annual conferences in San Francisco and London: http://mtpcon.com

    Talk #1
Abby Wan Liu // Build Quickly, Fall in Love Slowly: What AI means for Product x Design Collaboration
AI has dramatically lowered the cost of turning ideas into prototypes. Product managers can explore solutions in minutes, while designers and engineers can move closer to production faster than ever.
But there's a catch: the IKEA effect. When we build something ourselves, we tend to value it more. As AI makes prototyping accessible to everyone, we risk falling in love with solutions before we've understood the problem.
So what happens when everyone can prototype? This talk explores how AI is reshaping Product x Design collaboration, and what that means for how we work together.

    About Abby
Abby Wanyu Liu holds a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction and began her career as a tenure-track professor before moving into industry. She is now Head of Product Design at Tradebyte, a major B2B e-commerce player and a Zalando company. Outside of tech, Abby runs a contemporary circus in Munich.

    Talk #2
Dr. Hayder Schneider // How to turn your AI Product Innovation into Profitable Growth
Does your AI product move the needle? And does it do so profitably? For most products, at least one answer is no. The reason, this talk argues, is a solution-first mindset that came with the AI hype. Teams ship AI capabilities first and hope to figure out the commercials later: what customers are willing to pay, and what it costs to serve them. The talk gives founders and product leaders practical insights into how to prevent these mistakes and turn their AI product innovation into profitable growth.

    About Hayder
Hayder has built AI products from industrial operations to the frontier. His work centers on building the teams and systems that turn AI capabilities into products customers actually pay for and depend on. He is currently Head of Product Management at Aleph Alpha, where he works on sovereign GenAI solutions for enterprise and government customers. Before that, he led AI innovation for global manufacturing and led developer platforms at BASF, the world’s largest chemical company. Hayder gave a talk about AI Product Monetization at "Product at Heart" Conference this year, where he caught our attention and was invited to join the stage in Munich.

Don't miss the opportunity to learn from product people, share your experiences, network & get some fun!
