私たちの活動内容
Small World is your connection to Nagoya's exciting social scene.
Since 2018, our group has been creating meetups, social events, parties and gatherings to foster a strong and vibrant international community for both expats and Japanese alike.
Small Worldは名古屋の楽しいソーシャルシーンへの架け橋となるような存在です。
2018年からミートアップやソーシャルイベント、パーティーなど様々なイベントを開催しています。外国人と日本人のための、活気に満ち溢れた国際的なコミュニティーづくりを目的に活動しています。
Why do we do it?
私たちの活動目的
After meeting people from all walks of life, we've found that everyone has their own passions and interests. In a foreign country, it can be hard to find others who share those interests. It can be difficult to make friends at all.
Small World's goal is to make that easier.
We aim to bring our community closer together so that we can share our passions, learn about other cultures and make friends for life.
We are very proud to be a part of this community. We've met wonderful people and had unforgettable experiences, and we want to give something back, to make Nagoya the most exciting city in Japan!
様々な人々に出会う中で、人それぞれ情熱や興味関心があることに気が付きました。外国の地にいると、同じような興味関心を持っている人々と出会うことはそう簡単ではありません。友達を作ることでさえも難しいかもしれません。
Small Worldの目標はそういった友達作りのお手伝いをすることです。
コミュニティーを親密にし、好きなことを分かち合い、他文化を学び、一生ものの友達を作ることを目標としています。
私たちはこのコミュニティのメンバーであることをとても誇りに思っています。今まで素晴らしい人々に出会い、数々の忘れられない経験をしてきました。その恩返しとして、私たちの活動を通して名古屋を日本で一番面白い街にしていきたいと思っています！

Small World is one of Aichi's fastest growing Meetup groups, and we know that we have the most amazing members! People not only from Japan, but from all over the world.
We believe we have something for everyone, and we're always growing and making new events to make sure that everyone's interests are shared with others. Small World provides opportunities to try something new, learn something interesting or meet someone special.

Small World’s official language exchange, Chatterbox is one of the biggest language exchange events in Nagoya and known for it's well organised structure! Attendees are from all over the world, and they're all here to practice their language skills, make new friends, share their knowledge and get inspired by some talented people living in Nagoya.

NEW CONNECTIONS
Chatterbox will guarantee that you have at least one conversation with every participant! Through a range of activities, you’ll be able to meet multiple people in one-on-one conversations, and in groups of varying sizes throughout the event.SHARED INTERESTS
Based on the information from your form responses and what you learn in conversations with other participants, we’ll give you the tools you need to create groups, complete activities and make new friends with people who share interests similar to yours. Each month’s language and themes will be based on each event’s attendees.MORE FREEDOM
We won’t be assigning you seats or groups, we’ll give YOU the freedom to choose who you talk to based on who you click with best, and mixing things up regularly so that you’re given multiple opportunities to speak to people in a variety of scenarios.-----------------------------------

全員の参加者と少なくとも1回は会話ができるよう確約します！幅広いアクティビティーを通して数多くの人と1対1、もしくは様々なサイズ感のグループでの会話をすることができます。SHARED INTERESTS (共通の趣味関心)
皆さんからの事前アンケートと他の参加者との会話内容に基づき、ご自身と似た興味関心を持っている参加者とグループを作り、アクティビティーをこなし、新しい友達を作る手助けをしてくれるようなツールを提供します。毎月言語とテーマをイベントの参加者に基づいて決めていきます。MORE FREEDOM (より自由に)
