Today’s theme: “Who Are We? Adaptability, Identity, and Innovation During Hyper-Volatile Times”
The current episode of hyper volatility caused by the corona pandemic has forced people, companies, and the entire world to drastically change course. Nothing is as it used to be –worse, the old ways of rising to the occasion don’t seem to work any longer. At times, when we are forced to reconsider what we do and how we do it, our deepest sense of who we are, i.e. our identity, is shaken in its core.
Without even noticing it, we are in the midst of a collective identity crisis resulting in deep grief and trauma. To reinvent ourselves and create future desired states, we need to become adaptive and agile in our identity or the way we think about ourselves as much as we are adapting to altered practical circumstances during times of volatility. In this week’s dialogue,
Erika will give a short overview of her research on collective identity dynamics in successful organizations and the lessons we can draw from it. Together, we will explore the correlation between adaptability, identity, and innovation on the
_ individual level
_ corporate level
_ global level
In 3 extended group discussions, we will discover what is at the core of our own identity and how we can use the information to adapt and innovate.

Different themes. Different people. Every week. This isn't an ordinary 2-hour virtual happy hour. What makes this initiative unique is the high-quality of engagement and the extraordinary conversations with unknown participants.
What people have said:
"It is the virtual version of the Renaissance era gatherings where ideas collide and innovation/nuanced thinking emerges."
"It was so good that I bumped my other commitment and stayed the whole time."
"It was the most intellectually stimulating conversation I've had in weeks. What a great group of people. Loved the break out groups, some great sharing and insights."
