You are studying German but you don't get a chance to practice speaking? In our conversation class you can practice and fine tune your German in a structured class, guided by an experienced German teacher. Please take time at least 10 minutes before the event to pay and register for an account at http://zoom.us (in case you don't have one already). In each session we have a new topic and will tackle a variety of vocabulary. We will use the breakout feature of Zoom. You will get different discussion points and speak one-on-one with 3-4 other German learners in a separate chat room. After around 5-10 minutes I'll join your room and you'll give me an account of your conversation. I'll then correct your German and give you personalized feedback. After that you'll be assigned to a new group and discuss a new point. Are there requirements? If you are able to have a basic conversation about simple everyday topics - you are ready! If you have no German at all, get started with the mentioned requirements and join us in a few weeks! Why is there a fee? Hosting a meetup is not free. The €5 fee covers the Meetup organizer fee, the zoom membership fee, the preparation and the teaching of the class. Note: This meetup is part of a network with more members on other platforms.
