SQUASH SWEAT + TEARS WOMEN / MEN ACTIVITIES Players meetup at the club, play squash (with others around their level), train (if they wish), watch & learn from better players, make new friends, have a few drinks, etc. Please be aware, we must take care to use our allotted courts. We arrange for these based on the sign-up lists. If many people sign up, but do not appear then the courts go unused and those on the waiting list miss a chance to play. In order to ensure this if a party on the attending list has not appeared, their future reservations will be moved to the waiting list. In addition, reservations will be allowed up to fourteen days in advance only. PRICE: €9 Kindly pay at the front-desk reception "before" you play on a squash court. Free for club members. Our host in person will be Friederike from 2026🧡 We meet at Northwest corner of Siegessäule ( previous Cafe Viktoria. )We will run around the Tiergarten for 7kms. After the first round with the "Tiergarten Running Group", and if you still like us 😉 and feel like it, you can join in for a second loop of 6km. The second loop is optional. Running paces around 5:50 or 6:20 depends on the participants. We will start to run exact 9:00 am. Don't be late. If you are late, please follow the route in the picture. This time we're reading on board the Berlin **S41 Ringbahn**! **We will be taking the train departing at 11:01, boarding the last two cars.** ​**Our Agenda:** 10:30 - 11:00 — **Meeting [at the corner of Annemirl-Bauer-Platz Park](https://maps.app.goo.gl/DEKDRfexrKbNKEWg8)** across from Ostkreuz and get to know some of your fellow riders/readers! We'll walk over to the station together! ​11:01 - 12:01 — For those who need the extra 30 mins of sleep, feel free to meet us on the **S41 Platform** of Ostrkeuz. Board the S41 at 11:01 for the Great Quiet Reading Hour, where we complete a whole ring around the city of Berlin! ​12:01 — Get off at Ostkreuz to socialise, grab coffee, share your reading adventures, or just stay on the train for another round!

We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can! As always optional lunch after. This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).

Our Sewing & Crafting Activity Group is gathering to connect, serve, and create together in a Christ-centered environment. Whether you’re experienced or brand new, all skill levels are welcome. No supplies needed, but sewing machines are appreciated if you’re comfortable bringing one. Join us January 20th, February 17th & 24th, March 17th & 24th, and April 21st from 1–6 PM in the Youth Building at Village Chapel as we begin with prayer, enjoy fellowship, and work on meaningful service projects together. You are welcome to drop by anytime!

Younkin Branch Library (Ashville) meeting space is now reserved for any and all interested in or enthused by playing a game of chess. The second Thursday of each month, 6:00pm to 7:50pm. First gathering is Thursday, May 11th. No fees. Chess sets provided; however, you may bring your own if you wish.
