**Agenda of the evening:**
**Welcome and Introductions:** The Toastmaster of the Day (TMOD) often opens the meeting, who welcomes everyone and introduces the meeting's theme or agenda. The TMOD also introduces the key roles and functionaries for that session.
**Prepared Speeches:** A significant portion of the meeting is dedicated to prepared speeches. Members working through various projects in the Toastmasters education program deliver speeches based on their chosen projects. Each speech is evaluated by a designated evaluator who provides feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
**Table Topics:** Table Topics is a segment where impromptu speaking skills are tested. The Table Topics Master presents a series of short, unprepared speaking challenges or questions, and members or guests are invited to come to the podium and give a brief, improvised response.
**Evaluations:** Following the prepared speeches and Table Topics
segment, evaluators provide constructive feedback to speakers. These evaluations focus on content, delivery, body language, and time management. The goal is to help speakers improve their speaking skills.
**Reports and Functionary Roles:** The meeting may include various functionary roles, such as the Timer, Grammarian, Ah-Counter, and others, who report on their observations and contributions to the session. These roles help members improve their language and time management skills.
**General Evaluator:** The General Evaluator provides an overall assessment of the meeting, highlighting what went well and offering suggestions for improvement. They may also evaluate the evaluators' performance.
**Awards and Recognitions:** Toastmasters sessions often conclude with awards and recognitions, including the Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, and Best Table Topics Speaker. These awards encourage members to strive for excellence in their speaking and leadership abilities.
**Closing:** The meeting concludes with closing remarks from the Toastmaster of the Day, who may express gratitude to participants and encourage them to continue their Toastmasters journey.
**Networking and Socialising:** After the formal meeting, members and guests often have the opportunity to network, socialise, and discuss their experiences in a more relaxed setting.

Massage Exchange for GBTQ Men\* is a monthly event that provides a safe and welcoming space to practice and experience full-body touch and massage techniques (using massage tables). Referencing the content from the “Soul of Skin” massage training, each evening offers participants the opportunity to either try out or deepen various massage styles, fostering a community of learning and support.
Switching between giving and receiving roles often allows men\* to engage more deeply, experiencing greater impact and connection. The event provides both thematic suggestions for massage techniques and “best practices,” as well as enough freedom to use the space in mutual agreement with your partner\*.
Whether you are new to massage or attentive touch, or an experienced practitioner, this event is an excellent opportunity to connect with others, improve your skills, and enjoy the many benefits of touch in a supportive environment.
Benefits of non-judgmental, full-body Touch:
• touch is essential for our mental health and prevents loneliness
● Touch slows down, nourishes, and soothes
• touch can positively influence shame or negative body image
• touch promotes relaxation and regeneration
• touch communicates without words and creates a deeper connection to others
• touch stimulates the capacity for pleasure and empathy

Mit ***Stijn van Wesemael***
fur **GBTQ men\***

Empathy Game
Über uns
Hello, Berlin!
We're Mindful Mingle, a cozy corner in our bustling city dedicated to heartfelt conversations. A place where you're not just another face in the crowd, but a valued member of a caring community. Mindful Mingle welcomes openness and emotional honesty.

\#\# 🌿 Mindful Mingle Community Guidelines
Creating a space for real conversations, mindful connection, and mutual respect
These guidelines are here to help us keep our gatherings safe, supportive, and enriching for everyone. Please read them before attending an event.
\#\# 💛 1\. Come as You Are
This is a space for real people, not perfect ones. Whether you’re having a great week or a rough day, you’re welcome here. Just be yourself, no masks needed.
\#\# 🗣️ 2\. Listen with Empathy
When someone shares, listen with your full attention and an open heart. Avoid interrupting or offering unsolicited advice. Sometimes, the most powerful support is simply being present and listening.
\#\#\# 🤝 3\. Respect Confidentiality
What’s shared in the circle stays in the circle.
Trust is the foundation of this group, please don’t repeat or post about anyone’s personal experiences outside of the meetup.
\#\#\# 🧘 4\. No Judgment\, No Fixing
Everyone’s experience is valid. This isn’t a space for therapy or debate, but for compassionate sharing. Let’s honor each person’s truth without trying to “fix” or analyze it.
\#\#\# 🌍 5\. Diversity Is Our Strength
We celebrate people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind will not be tolerated.
Bring curiosity and kindness, we learn so much from each other’s perspectives.
\#\#\# 🕊️ 6\. Honor the Flow
Please arrive on time if you can, and stay as long as feels right. Our events are flexible, but being punctual helps maintain the shared rhythm and presence in the group.
\#\#\# 📍 7\. Be Mindful of Space and Time
Keep introductions and sharing brief so everyone has a chance to speak.
If you’re speaking, take a breath, and make room for others. If you’re quiet, know that your presence still matters deeply.
\#\#\# ☕ 8\. Kind Curiosity Over Critique
It’s okay to disagree, that’s part of rich conversation. But let’s do so mindfully, with respect and empathy. Ask questions to understand, not to challenge.
\#\#\# 🌸 9\. This Is a Shared Space\, Not Therapy
Mindful Mingle is about community and connection, not a substitute for therapy or crisis support. If you’re struggling, please know you’re not alone and professional help is always encouraged. We’re here to listen and care, not to diagnose or treat.
\#\#\# ✨ 10\.
A Final Note
Mindful Mingle is a living community, these guidelines grow with us.
By showing up with kindness, honesty, and openness, you help create the safe, heartfelt atmosphere that makes this group special.
Thank you for being part of it. 🌿

Hello, dear friends,
My name is Alicja and I'll be taking over as the host of Mindful Mingle.
I’m really glad to step into this role and continue what Behnam has built over the years − a community of empaths of all walks of life and ages coming together to connect and share their experiences. It feels both exciting and a little challenging but on the other side of fear is freedom and I'm willing to take that leap.
In the past, I held space for women's circles for two years before I moved to Berlin so it’s meaningful for me to return to something I care deeply about − this time in a mixed group, which I’ve been wanting to explore for a while.
I intend to uphold the values and guidelines of the Mingle, so if you would like to be part of the journey, join us at an upcoming meeting!
Curatorial Tour – Instinct#20
**Curatorial Tour – Instinct#20**
for **LGBTQIA+**
Free event
**Group exhibition**
During this **curatorial tour**, we will guide you through artworks that engage with conflict as a generative force and explore “Radical Empathy” as an active, transformative practice. Together, we will consider how empathy can be learned, challenged, and reimagined through queer artistic perspectives.
The tour will examine how artists create spaces that embrace difference, resist dominant narratives, and invite us to remain open to discomfort, connection, and change. Moving beyond passive understanding, these works propose empathy as a relational encounter—one that has the potential to reshape how we live with and through conflict.

Neurodivergent Sharing Circle: People of Color
If you are navigating life with both being a person of color and being neurodivergent—this sharing circle is for you.
**Details**
📅 Wednesday, 8th of April 2026
🕕 18:30 - 20:30
📍 Meeting Room in BIW\*oC Rising https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y6wTvMXV4rCUkgzP8
🎟️ Free but a donation for the space is highly appreciated.
**Community disclaimer:** This circle is organized entirely by neurodivergent volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and resources to create this space. They deserve patience and kindness.
**What happens here**
* We gather. We share. We listen.
* Stimming, fidgeting, moving around, stepping out for a break, is always welcome.
* For this first event, we will try to open with a round of introductions. If you feel called to, you can share three words that represent your neurodivergent and BIPOC life.
* There is no pressure to share if you can't think of any or would rather just pass.
* After we hear the words, we can see what themes emerge and let the conversation flow from there.
* The format of this event can be changed and discussed the further we go with this sharing circle.
**This space is for you if:**
* You're a person of color—Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, mixed-race, or any marginalized racial or ethnic identity.
* You're neurodivergent—diagnosed, self-identified, questioning, or just know your brain works differently: ADHD, autistic, dyslexic, AuDHD, or any other neurotype.
**Community Agreements**
* **This is a space to heal, not to harm.**
Experiencing racism is painful and real. That pain is welcome here.
However, this is not a space to express sexist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, colorist, or any other discriminatory attitudes toward any person or group—regardless of their identity.
We all carry wounds. But those wounds do not give us permission to wound others.
* **Confidentiality:** What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. This helps us build trust.
* **No Fixing:** This is a space for sharing experiences, not for giving unsolicited advice, diagnosing others, or trying to "fix" someone. We are here to witness and support, not to problem-solve.
* **Content Warnings:** If you plan to share something that involves heavy topics like trauma, self-harm, or graphic discrimination, please give a brief warning before you start (e.g., "I'd like to share something about a difficult experience..."). This allows others to gently step out or prepare themselves.
* **Respect the Space:** Please be mindful and respectful of the venue that hosts us.
**About the Space Hosting Us**

Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online

PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details:
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1
week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to all of YOU for volunteering at this (and any of our previous) CMG Gives Back events!

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games!
The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!
Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "Yes, And" that you'll have fun!

How to Be a Better Communicator - Free Seminar
How to be a Better Communicator
Communication is everything in life
You are only as successful as your ability to communicate.
\- What if you could confidently talk to anyone?
\- What if you had the ability to calmly control every conversation?
\- What if you could close that sale\, ask for that date\, make new friends\, repair problematic relationships\, get that raise\, or effortlessly express any idea with confidence?
You can!
The secret to success relies on your ability or inability to effectively communicate. Attend a free seminar and gain a better ability to communicate.
