Join me for a photo walk through Prater :) We will gather shortly before sunset (sunset time is 19.35) at the front gates of the amusement park. After a short introduction we will go for a photowalk among the rides. At the end of the walk everyone is welcome to join for a warm drink at a nearby cafe. The event is free of charge but will be limited to max 6 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect, and the park is the perfect location for losing parts of a group. It is suitable for all regardless of age/level/gear. IMPORTANT: as these events are usually full, please make sure to cancel at least 24h in advance if you see you aren´t able to make it.

Du wirst in diesem lockeren Kunstgeschichte Kurs direkt vor den Originalen Meisterwerken im Kunsthistorischen Museum Wien einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Epochen der Kunstgeschichte von der Kunst des Mittelalters bis ins 18. Jahrhundert bekommen und wirst fortan Kunst in allen Ausstellungen anders sehen und verstehen und Zusammenhänge besser erkennen können. Jede Woche wenden wir uns einer Epoche zu und einem der wichtigsten Werke von einem der bedeutendsten Künstler im Kunsthistorischen Museum. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich, der Kurs ist aber auch für Fortgeschrittene gut besuchbar. Alles wird in lockerem Beisammensein vor den Bildern stattfinden, anschließend stehen das wunderschöne Café in der Kuppelhalle im Museum und die vielen netten Lokale in nächster Nähe für weiteres Beisammensein zur Verfügung und natürlich kann man auch einfach noch weiter alleine oder mit alten und den neuen Bekannten sich selbständig im Museum noch mehr anschauen. Wir begeben uns auf eine Reise in das Goldenen Zeitalter Wiens um 1900. Wir sehen Bilder Klimts aus seiner "Goldenen Phase", den "Kuss", Bilder von Monet, van Gogh, Munch und vielennanderen und lernen über die Zeit um 1900. Du erfährst über Zusammenhänge, Einflüsse, Bedeutungen und bekommst ein noch besseres Gefühl für diese fürbWien so wichtige Zeit. Zusammen werden wir Fragen aufwerfen und gemeinsam diesen begegnen und auch einfach zusammen uns an den vielen so hochwertigen Bildern im Oberen Belvedere erfreuen. es wird sehr nett. **Kurz gesagt "Linien und Schatten -Workshop":** Wenn du eine transformative Erfahrung machen möchtest, die deine Zeichenfähigkeiten verbessert und dir hilft, dein Talent zu entdecken, bist du hier genau richtig. **Das Kohle-Kulli-Graphit Workshop.** Wir treffen uns jeden **Donnerstag** von 18:30 bis 21:00 Uhr im **Atelier La Villa**, Hasenauerstraße 38, 1190 Wien, **Du hast die Möglichkeit:** … **Zeichentechniken** mit verschiedenen Medien (Graphit, Kohle und Stifte) zu entwickeln … deine **visuelle Wahrnehmung** zu verändern und zu verbessern … **Bilder zu schaffen**, von abstrakt bis fotorealistisch … abzuschalten, zu meditieren und einer **kreativen Aktivität nachzugehen** Wenn du bereits zeichnen kannst, aber dein volles Potenzial noch nicht ausgeschöpft hast, **ist dies der richtige Workshop für dich.** In den 5 Lektionen à 2,5 Stunden werden wir viele Arten von Übungen durchführen, die darauf abzielen, die Wahrnehmung von Linien, Formen und dreidimensionalen Volumen zu entwickeln. This month we will be discussing **Frank Santoro**, an American cartoonist, painter, and comics critic known for his expressive lines, experimental page layouts, and vibrant use of color. His graphic novels—including *Storeyville*, *Pompeii*, and *Pittsburgh*—blend personal storytelling with innovative visual structure, often exploring memory, place, and relationships. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists. Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.

The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome.
