Come join me in cleaning up litter in Kilbogget Park in South Dublin. I will supply a cart, bags/buckets, litter grabbers, and occasionally a dog (for morale). Feel free to bring your own equipment if you have it. Here's the plan: 1. Meet near the Kilbogget Grove Bus Stop, 3131 at 10:00. I'll be standing in the area with a cart and dog, so should be easy to spot. 2. Collect litter along the path illustrated in the link below in the description. Note we will be going into the trees along the way. 3. Circle back to the starting point when finished. Note that we will walk in wet grass/mud on occasion and will be handling litter, so best to wear appropriate clothes, footwear and gloves. Explore Saint Catherine's Park, Lucan. We will be meeting at Connolly Train Station at 11:30AM. (Beside the Pret A Manger). At 11:35AM, we will be walk to the (Intercity Commuter) Maynooth, which is scheduled for 11:47AM. This train goes through 9 train stations (Connolly, Drumcondra, Broombridge, Pelletstown, Ashtown, Navan Road Parkway, Castleknock, Coolmine and Consilla), everyone that is coming, is welcome to get on from any of those stations mentioned. We will arrive at Leixlip Train Station 12:19 (Estimated) When everyone is of the train we will be walking 34 minutes (2.5KM) to the Starting Point of the Walking Loop. The Loop at Saint Catherine's Park is 3.9KM (About 1 Hour and 30 Minutes). This is an old woodland in Ireland, it can be an exotic habitat, while we are walking through the woods we will see beaches, swamps and hills. This park contains one of very few remaining examples of this primative habitat. There are toilet at the beginning of the walking loop. We will be walking through Lucan Demense and Ruins of Saint Catherine's Church. Every event is 5 Euro's, you can pay by using Revolut or Cash, this goes towards my meet-up subsription fee and it takes a alot of time organising these events on meet-up and doing them. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice.
