The Chapel Hill Toastmasters Club is committed to helping members develop and refine their communication and leadership skills. We are the Charlotte chapter of the international Hash House Harriers (CH3), which is an adult-humored, non-competitive running group. "A Drinking club with a running problem" Hashing is a mixture of athleticism and sociability, fun having and hard work; a refreshing break from the nine-to-five routine. Hashing is an exhilaratingly fun combination of r\*nning, orienteering, and partying, where bands of Harriers and Harriettes chase Hares on two to four mile trails through town, country, jungle, and desert, all in search of exercise, camaraderie, and good times. The irreverent group typically gets together to humorously note on-trail misbehavior with tongue-in-cheek drinking songs and “down downs”. We meet up at 2 PM on Saturdays and go on a scavenger hunt through the woods and town, for beers that have been hidden by one of our members. The aim of this group is to get together and practice our German. Doesn’t matter if are a beginner or a native speaker. The goal is to speak and improve our German. Everyone is welcome! If the weather is good, look for us in the Biergarten. Pro Tip: Get there before 6:00 for happy hour pricing.

Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
