In diesem Kurs beschäftigen wir uns mit verschiedenen Texten aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen. Das können u.a. kurze Geschichten, Gedichte, Zeitungsartikel, Kolumnen oder Videos sein. Immer sind es Themen, die uns gefallen, die wir besonders interessant, wichtig oder manchmal auch richtig schlecht finden. Gemeinsam versuchen wir die Position der Autor*in, den Stil und die Argumentationsstruktur zu verstehen. Dazu diskutieren wir über das, was wir verstehen, welche Meinung wir zu dem Thema haben oder welche Fragen offen bleiben.
Gerne könnt ihr uns auch Themenvorschläge mitbringen oder zuschicken.
Der Kurs richtet sich an interessierte Menschen mit einem B2-Niveau (oder so ähnlich), die Lust haben sich weiter mit der deutschen Sprache zu beschäftigen und ihren Wortschatz zu erweitern.
Die Termine sind sporadisch.

Pik As Skatrunde Jeden Dienstag um 1645 treffen wir uns für unsere Skatrunde. Wir spielen Turnierskat seit 1906 und laden dich gerne ein mal mit zu spielen und mitglied bei Pik As zu werden. spielst du gerne und auf jeden fall einigermaßen gut? komm vorbei uns spiele mal mit.

We'll start off the session with a run in Gleisdreieck park that might include scaling some walls, visiting a few sites in the area to explore their opportunities for climbing and balancing, or going up or down stairs in unusual ways. After the outdoors bit, we come back to our gym where we focus on building strength, working as a group, and learning basic martial arts techniques. We are a small, accessible, mixed-gender, queer-friendly group open to anyone, without any prior knowledge or specific degree of fitness required. Our martial art is Jutaijutsu, a traditional Japanese one focused on self-defence. Sounds interesting? We'd love for you to drop by and join us. You'll need running shoes and comfortable workout clothes, including a raincoat or the like for the park if the weather is bad. Once indoors, we train barefoot. A \~2 hours watercolor - gouache painting lesson. **About this course** The total watercolor, gouache or tempera course consists of around 30 lessons that last 2 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. At the start of the event you choose which material you will use. The lessons will happen almost every Tuesday at 19:00-21:00 in Berlin. This course is aimed at introducing the painting process with watercolor, gouache or tempera as the main medium. These lessons cover the various techniques and methodologies. Our models change weekly. They allow us to practice short and long poses. This allows your eye to train in recognising movement and form, while also giving you enough time to study the model more closely. In addition, every week, we include a short excursion into different aspects of figurative drawing – be it anatomical issues, lighting, or the structure of the human figure. We meet and sketch each other in Berlin. This is just an art gym that we also exercise our social skills. Afterwards usually we go for lunch as a group. **How Does It Work?** This event is simple, we meet and sketch each other doing portraits. Most of the participants use pencils or watercolors. Main aim is to socialize while we draw. There will be plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. We have to mention that this event is suitable for all levels. The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human.
