We have decided to form this group to rekindle our love for self-expression through karaoke and to begin a new chapter in life after several consecutive pandemic lockdowns. And we are looking for like-minded individuals who do not feel shy to blast their emotions through a microphone. This group is not for novices, and you need at least an intermediate level of karaoke singing experience to feel comfortable in this group. Perhaps we envision this group to be a budding source of unseen vocal talent that might lead to more promising opportunities for the individual. Singing competitions, contracts by entertainment clubs or purely for the joy of carefree performing amongst familiar friends. Having said that, we do not mean novices are not invited, but build yourself to an appropriate level of confidence and you are more than welcome to join this group. We are looking to form group karaoke convoys on weekends or public holidays at various places in Kl and Selangor. To patronize karaoke joints with a reputable sound system, good service and affordable rates. Some may offer eat-all-you-can buffet. Various adjoining rooms in that karaoke complex will be booked depending on the size of crowd turnout. The more people, the more rooms booked in order to prevent room overcrowding. We feel each individual should have a chance to sing a satisfactory list of their favorite songs at every karaoke meetup. The best thing is, for those minutes that your song is not up yet, you can bring your drink glass-in-hand and hop room-to-room. Get to know other members via dice games or casual chit chat. Go back to your room and sing your heart out when your song is up. Who knows? An undercover talent scout might be sitting right next to you! Jokes aside... at the end of the day, it is just all about fantastic fun, letting loose and meeting great new friends. Grow a layer of thick-skin and join our group today. *NOTE: We are seeking a minimum of 5 'mixed-gender' attendees for any of our group singing events to proceed. a.k.a. no sausage fests! (or equivalent) If the minimum requirement of attendees is not met, don't fret. The event will simply be postponed to another convenient later date until we reach the minimum threshold of K Kings & Queens participants.
