ERA VOTE RESCHEDULED - OPPORTUNITY TO RALLY AGAIN!
After supporters of the Equal Rights Amendment (and Ranked Choice Voting Local Option) powerfully rallied at the State Capitol on Monday, both bills were delayed by the MN House due to a lengthy debate that finished just before midnight on two conference committee reports. They can delay but they can never deter us.
The ERA has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 15 at 11 am, and we have another opportunity to show our strength in numbers! We will once again welcome Representatives as they enter the House chambers at 10:15 am, and we have Capitol Room 317B as our Hub throughout the day.
_Advocates are asked to wear green or white (not red) as we rally together for the ERA. _
You are welcome to park at the LWVMN office, 546 Rice St, St Paul, where we will walk the 10 minutes over to the Capitol at 10 am.
You can also find accessible parking in the Senate building.
