Mage the Awakening: The Key and the Gate

There is only one rule, do not invoke The Gate. No matter how desperate you are, do not scorch the Earth. Like a celestial scalpel the Serpent is used to prevent the mundane from reaching the sublime. Locked in an endless battle the tree of mortality forever grows and the blackest, sharpest blade is used to prune it back.

But those who hold the blade are drunk with its power, and the roots of the tree are unraveling. Through the blasted maw, from the Place Between, come the entities that Should Not Be. Their twisted manifestation burns away the unworthy and makes way for The Fearful Reconciler.

This game is played using the Mage: The Awakening rule set. Themes include unfathomable horror, sinister acts of hubris, and power beyond comprehension at the edge of existence.

New players are welcome, character sheets can be provided or you can make your own. No experience required.
