Before I Die NM Festival Day of Death Cafes

The 2025 Before I Die New Mexico Festival will take place as a one-day event, combined with the Death is Not a Dirty Word Resource Fair, and featuring a full day of Death Cafe conversations. These Death Cafes will take place in the Arnold Room at the First Unitarian Church from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This upbeat gathering is designed to answer questions about end-of-life issues, plan for death and address what happens afterwards. You'll want to register in advance for 10 raffle tickets for great prizes at the Resource Fair.

Registration is free. Those who pay to register can get a copy of the book, A Good Goodbye: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don't Plan to Die ($40), a t-shirt with a snappy death saying ($60), and a Death Over Dinner and Mortality Movie Night with Gail Rubin, The Doyenne of Death ($100).
