Death Cafe/Mortality Movie host Gail Rubin invites to come to her home to screen a Mortality Movie. We'll watch a film related to end-of-life issues and have a short discussion afterwards.

At this Meetup, we'll watch the 1997 black comedy Critical Care. James Spader stars as a hospital resident put in the middle of a legal battle between two half-sisters on whether to continue their comatose father’s life support. The women have different motivations for keeping him alive versus pulling the plug. Sidney Lumet directed this film that skewers medical care, insurance, and difficult decisions in the ICU.
