Death Cafe Edmonton is a group-directed discussion of death and dying with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is not a grief support group or counselling session, but it is a safe place to get comfortable discussing all things death.
This meetup is FREE, but the venue is a local independently owned establishment, so we encourage you to purchase food/drink while you are there.
The Tea Girl offers a variety of food items, plus tea (obviously!) and other beverages. And if you need some hard stuff to talk about the hard stuff, they are licensed. Check out their excellent tea-based cocktails and local beer. Feel free to stop by early for a quick bite or to stay late. They are open until 10pm.
