Death Cafe Edmonton is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. Death Cafe Edmonton is NOT a grief support group or counselling session. It IS a safe place to get comfortable discussing all things death, while maybe eating something yummy and drinking something refreshing.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
This meetup is FREE, but the venue is a local independently owned establishment, so we strongly encourage you to purchase food/drink while you are there. Amber Cafe offers a variety of food and beverages. Feel free to stop by early for a quick bite or to stay late. The restaurant side also has an excellent menu.
There is free parking on the street and behind the venue.
