NW Houston’s Monthly Death Cafe — gather to talk about death, dying, and life

Details

Talking about death won’t kill you, so come along to a death cafe!
All are welcome to our discussion circle on death (and life).

We meet on the third Saturday of every month at the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service.

There will be coffee and cookies, and anyone wishing to bring along treats to share is welcome to do so!

We will be in The Robert L. Waltrip Memorial Classroom (middle room) -- there will be a small paper sign with the Death Cafe logo on the door.

How to find us:
Enter through the front door, check in at the desk, and proceed to the middle room. Any difficulty, ask the front desk how to find the room!

Northwest Houston’s Death Cafe is part of the larger international social franchise movement of Death Cafes. We welcome all, members old and new.

A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no preset agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session, and not affiliated with any specific faith or belief system.

At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat treats and discuss death.

Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
