Central Houston’s Monthly Death Cafe — come to talk about death, dying, and life

Details
Talking about death won’t kill you, so come along to a death cafe!
All are welcome at our monthly discussion circle on death (and life).
This month we are being hosted by Omega House Hospice in Montrose, on the kind invitation of its director Sandy Stacy.
Following the meeting, all those interested will have the opportunity to tour the hospice.
There will be cookies and pastries, and anyone wishing to bring along treats to share is welcome to do so!
How to find us:
We are meeting in the upstairs of Omega House. To access the building, please ring the buzzer at the front entrance, and someone will let you in.

Houston’s Death Cafe is part of the larger international social franchise movement of Death Cafes. We welcome all, members old and new.
A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no preset agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session, and not affiliated with any specific faith or belief system.
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat treats and discuss death.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
