Philadelphia Death Café: ONLINE (formerly in Center City)

We are delighted that Philadelphia Death Café held in Center City on the last Monday of each month is now online. Until we can safely meet in person, our Center City and Bryn Mawr Cafes are both online.
(Also there are exceptions when holidays or major city events fall on the last Monday).

The Death Café phenomenon started in Europe as an open and supportive forum for people to discuss mortality, free of taboo and social stigma, over coffee and snacks.

Please join us for friendly conversation around topics of life & death, from any angle that interests you. Openness is the only pre-requisite. And bring your friends!

Our Death Café Meetup is held in the Barnes & Noble Book Store Café on Rittenhouse square (1805 Walnut Street- second floor). There is plenty of seating for everyone who RSVP’s or just walks in, to join us on the last Monday of each month.

Be sure to come hungry and enjoy their fantastic menu such as Café sandwiches, ½ sandwich and soup, Philly Cheesesteak, wraps, club sandwiches, pizza, enchiladas, quiches, pretzels, Espresso (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/h/cafe/espresso-beverages), Beverage Favorites (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/h/cafe/seasonal-beverage-favorite), and Bakery (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/h/cafe/bakery) items.

Just take the escalator or elevator up to the second floor to join the group from 7:00 to 8:30. Bring your family and friends for an interesting evening of sharing.
