Death Cafe at La Puerta Natural Burial Ground
Details
The Albuquerque Death Cafe will take place at a special location on Saturday, May 2, which is World Labyrinth Day! Be prepared for a day in the desert sun: bring a hat, sunscreen, and water bottle.
Join us at La Puerta Natural Burial Ground south and east of Belen for a day of reflection, community, and connection, walk the labyrinth there, and learn more about green burial practices.
A schedule of events follows. Please RSVP directly to La Puerta through this link. Also please indicate if you'll be attending through this Meetup event. Attendance will be limited to 150 people, and an accurate count is needed to provide enough chairs, tables, and porta-potties.
La Puerta is an hour's drive south of Albuquerque. Coordinate with your friends to carpool. Directions to La Puerta here.
