Welcome to Death Over Drafts - Southside Hampton Roads!
Death over Drafts is an informal event about all things death and dying. We will be brewing up conversations using The Death Deck, a lively tool to navigate many topics related to death. Most of all, we want to encourage meaningful connections and have fun while de-stigmatizing talk about the inevitable.
Our society does not always make it easy to have conversations around death. In an effort to change that, we are combining our passions: craft beer and welcoming conversations. Our gatherings include 30 minutes of mingling, 60 minutes of playing The Death Deck, followed by 30 minutes of reflection and sharing.
Let's come together over drafts and conversations about death. Join us to be part of a growing death-positive movement that provides space, and a place to honor and support individuals, families, and each other.
