Motion: The United Nations is a Failed Institution

The UN was founded in 1945 with the primary objective of maintaining international peace and security. It also aims to promote human rights and social progress, and foster international cooperation to address global challenges. This includes upholding international law, delivering humanitarian aid, and supporting sustainable development.

These are lofty goals. But has the UN succeeded in delivering on its mandate? That's what we will be debating on Tuesday, April 29th at 7:30 PM in the Friends House, at 60 Lowther Avenue, Toronto.
