Motion: Medical Assistance in Dying is a good program
Details
It seems sensible that a person should have the right to end their life. If that right is granted then it would seem the most reasonable way to let them practice that right is through the existing medical system. For several years now, for those who qualify, Canadians have had this right and have been able to end their life prematurely through medical intervention. Does this program make our world better? It is certain that many who would of suffered did not but are there negative implications of such a program? Have people died who 'ought' to have lived?
