City of Decatur Fireworks Display

Bring your camera and tripod to capture the fireworks display over downtown Decatur. There is a parade at 6 PM, a concert at 7 PM, and the fireworks at roughly 9 PM, as darkness falls.

Park at the Decatur High School lot, and bring a chair and a tripod; the grassy area along Commerce Drive is an excellent spot for viewing the fireworks launched from the courthouse parking deck.

Recommended camera settings: ISO 100, F/8, 2 second shutter speed to capture the sparkling trails in the sky, with manual focus on "infinity."
