Join our hands-on training session to learn the essentials of 3D printing at Decatur Makers! This class will cover the basics of 3D printing, how to set up and manage prints using 3DPrinterOS, troubleshooting common issues, and best practices to ensure successful prints. By the end, you'll be equipped to confidently operate our 3D printers and manage your prints remotely. Ages: 16+

The class will run from 11am-1pm, with the instructor remaining after to answer questions and help troubleshoot your printing issues.

Family Build Night is geared towards our littlest makers, age 6-10 years old and their families and we provide 2-3 different hands-on STEAM activities.

We're excited to be back in-person! Masks are required for everyone, regardless of your vaxx status. And we will be hosting this event outside, so please dress for the weather!

All project supplies are free, but donations are welcome.

This is a drop-in event. Come for the whole time or just a bit. Bring your dinner and hang out if that helps you get here!

Parents/Guardians must stay at Decatur Makers with their kiddos. It is FAMILY Build night after all.

We host Open Build Nights on Wednesdays from 7-9 PM, except the first Wednesday of the month (reserved for members-only meetings). During this time, our space is free and open to the public, so come take a tour!
Open Build Night is a great time to bring questions about Decatur Makers, tour our makerspace, and meet others who have the same passion.
If you would like to work on a project, please let us know some details beforehand by registering for the event. Certain tools and pieces of equipment are restricted for use and require the assistance of a trained volunteer. We endeavor to have volunteers available, but it is not always possible to work on or complete all projects.
This is for makers of all ages, skill sets, and interests.
