Extending Invitations

You just finished talking to someone and would like to continue getting to know them. What do you do? In this session, we'll explore how to extend invitations to stay in touch with people we meet.

We'll work on finding points of connection then following up with a low pressure invitation to continue the interaction at another time. The goal is not to exchange contact info - it's to follow up on a shared interest you've discovered together.

We'll review how to handle both rejection and acceptance of the invitation. Especially if you're used to being rejected, someone taking you up on the invitation may come as a surprise. Let's practice being ready and at peace with either outcome.
