Factom: A Protocol and Network to Secure Digital Assets - Facts and the Future

Many of you will have heard recently about the financial woes of Austin’s own Factom, Inc. No, it’s not dead but its future is unclear.

We all wish the folks at Factom, Inc. the very best, but it’s important to understand that the Factom protocol is an open source effort and its network is decentralized, still running - and going strong!

To explain more about how the development of Factom protocol is organized, how the network is supported, what to expect in coming months, and how you might participate, we’re excited to welcome Nathan Miller, CEO of Consensus Networks (a Factom Authority Node Operator), to our online meetup.

Nathan will make a presentation and answer your questions. He will also cover recent work by his company to leverage Factom in the healthcare space. And for those who are new to Factom, he'll explain what it is and why it is very useful for businesses of all kinds.
