The DecentraTech Collective's September 20, 2021 Online Meetup is all about the Next Ethereum ... and what will it be?

While there's no doubt that Ethereum - now six years old - is currently the most popular general purpose public blockchain and smart contracts platform available, there are several emerging projects seeking to take advantage of its shortcomings and attract its huge community away to their own offering.

Meanwhile, a major upgrade to Ethereum is underway to improve its scalability and throughput and reduce operational costs. Will the upgrade be enough, and arrive soon enough, to keep developers (and businesses) loyal to it?

In this meetup, DecentraTech Collective Executive Director Pete Harris will review some of the leading contenders and make some quality judgements on which platforms will be the winners in the years to come.
