Let's make a slow site fast!

What's up out there web performance people,

First up, I have been slacking on my punctuation lately with the Meetup events. I promise to try harder at adding an exclamation point to the the title of the event from now on.

Since the last Wednesday of this month falls close to a holiday it has been decided we meet the 1st Wednesday in December(the 4th) instead. Hope that doesn't complicate your schedules.

The goal for the next meetup is to take a slow site (according to Lighthouse) and use our combined skills to make it fast. Lighthouse will give us baseline performance metrics for a website and based on those metrics we will come up with a plan of attack. It's going to be great fun or a great disaster. Either way it's going to be great so you can't lose!
