Is Truth Good? (open discussion, all welcome)

Is Truth Good? Why do we pursue truth? What’s so good about it? Does truth bring us closer to the best possible outcome? Or do we pursue truth for the sake of truth even if it results in an undesirable outcome?

What if the truth behind the “Epstein Files” would result in absolute distrust and collapse of our systems as we know it? Do we let the truth out or do we move on for the sake of civilization?

Can a false religion or worldview result in a better lifestyle? Should we encourage false religions for the sake of the best living, or do we continue advocating for truth?
