Feminism has taken on many different forms throughout multiple generations, and activists are generally pushing for some form of change in our society for the sake of this virtue. But are these changes always for the better? Are some things better left unchanged? Has Feminism Done More Harm Than Good?
“Feminism” is often viewed as simply advocating for women to have all of the same rights and privileges that men have. Sounds reasonable enough, right? Does this mean Feminism is the same as same as “egalitarianism”, which advocates for all humans to have all the same fundamental rights? This would be the case if feminists ever concerned themselves with men’s issues. Perhaps some do, but the general notion I gather is that feminism only cares about any potential inequalities that are unfavorable to women specifically.
There are many other sub-topics connected to feminism worth exploring, and discussion whether the changes that have come from Feminism are making a net positive or negative change on our society.
