The Future of Education - Open Discussion

What should education prepare us for? Has it changed over time? How should we adjust our idea of education in light of new technologies such as AI?

Is it still just as important for everyone to get a degree and find a job? Or should education be for our own personal enrichment?

If we could rethink education from the ground up, what would we
keep, and what would we change? Are schools teaching us to think for
ourselves or simply to fit into the world as it is? And in a future
where AI can do so much of the thinking for us, what does it really
mean to be educated?
