October Monthly Meetup: UNM/CNM App Contest

Hey Tech Community! We hope you join us for another awesome opportunity to learn and network at our October Meetup. Zoom-in, gain resources and network for the 2021-2022 UNM/CNM App contest.

ONLINE AGENDA
5:30pm - Introduction | Resources | Q&A | Networking

Host: Esteban Martinez
Topic: UNM & CNM's Mobile App Contest

UNM and CNM faculty and staff will provide support to these coding efforts through virtual workshops and mentors. UNM, CNM and the City of Albuquerque have invested in open data sets which are available to enrich the coding experience and make the apps more useful to users. Data sets available include UNM events, class schedule data, campus locations, Route 66 images, bike paths, list of local businesses, and more.

Through this effort, we hope to inspire students to develop coding skills which are increasingly valuable in our information economy, and to yield apps that can improve the experience of our students. Please join us as we answer questions, go over details and important dates!

For anyone who is not a part of the Deep Dive community come join us and network - we have amazing alumni who can answer any questions for those who may be interested in taking a Deep Dive bootcamp - funding opportunities are available! (https://deepdivecoding.com/)

Monthly Meetups will now take place the 2nd Wednesday of every month, so stay tuned for other topics. If you are interested in being a presenter/host we welcome anyone to reach out.
