Deep Dive is a science lecture night in a bar. One fascinating topic, fifty minutes deep, explained in plain English by someone who has spent years studying it: a researcher, a professor, an author. Show up, get a drink, listen, ask questions, and then stay to talk about it with the kind of people who come to a lecture in a bar.
Every event is one talk, no slides-torture, no fluff: 50 minutes from a real expert, a moderated Q&A, and the rest of the night is social. Topics change every time, from neuroscience and psychology to history, philosophy, and the classics, so you never need background knowledge, just curiosity.
Who is this for? Curious people in Barcelona who want their nights out to leave something behind. Locals and internationals welcome; talks are in English. Many of us come alone and leave with new friends, so if you're new in town, this is an easy first move.
