What we’re about

We analyze serious, lengthy proposals for fundamental social and economic transformation. Our first discussion: Peter Joseph's 350-page framework for a parallel economic system. If you're not willing to read all 350 pages before the discussion, this isn't your group.

We're looking for people frustrated by surface-level discourse who want to rigorously examine how transformative change could actually work - the mechanisms, the evidence, the potential obstacles. You don't have to agree with the proposals we study. You do have to do the reading and bring substantive analysis.

Who should join:
You're willing to seriously consider ideas that challenge conventional systems. You can distinguish between analyzing a proposal and endorsing it. You're more interested in understanding transformative mechanisms than defending your current worldview. You finish what you start.

What to expect:

  • 200-350 page readings between meetings (2-4 week intervals)
  • Materials that challenge fundamental assumptions about how society could be organized
  • Discussion focused on feasibility, implementation, and evidence - not just ideology
  • Respectful debate among people who've done the homework
